The CineKindl competition section features all films for young and young-at-heart film fans aged 5 to 99, which are also offered in morning screenings for school classes. Whether feature films, animated films or documentaries - all possible forms and narrative styles of cinema are shown here. In addition to the competition series, there is also a short film program aimed at our younger viewers.

CineYou sees itself as an open laboratory that aims to involve children, teenagers and young adults more closely in the festival. It is not to be understood as a conventional film program, but as a participatory offer that invites you to actively participate in the festival with workshops, film talks and creative projects - far beyond just watching films.
